Derpixon: Haha yes! I do feel like this is one of those "guilty pleasure" fetishes that most people have and there just needs to be more of it. Honestly it's become a new fetish of mine because of this GIF. I remember reading comments saying that 'ignore' should be a tag because of it. Kasaix: I know this one well, I've gone back to it many times. What makes this piece also special is that it gave me a lot of exposure to the public and it made people more interested in this kind of thing which I also like! So its a true win-win artwork for me. Its one of the things that I genuinely enjoy making because of the funny and bizarre concept it has when it comes porn. It's entitled " Dinner Wieners ", and it basically has this theme of Ignore/Casual/Multitask sex (whichever you wanna call it).
As for NSFW, this has got to be one of those projects that has a special history with my career. Derpixon: I do wish I could show my fave SFW artwork but I'd like to keep that account separate from Derpixon. What's your favorite art project, something you would show to someone as a first impression? Derpixon: Oh ummm, NSFW or SFW? XD Kasaix: Either really, just something you feel is your best work. Kasaix: A childhood passion turned profession, that's the dream many aspire to. So when I found out about art books that focused on the actual concept art and stuff like that, man that spark just kept on burning. My interest generally lies on monster designs, pin-ups and cool fantasy-related things! Video games played a huge role in sparking my interest to just admire these designs and to make my own creative work based on that interest. What first piqued your interest in art? Derpixon: Oh! I always loved to draw ever since I was little. Kasaix: Studying the masters is a tried and true way to get better. Some people do say that my art has been improving every time and I do believe them in a way! I really got more serious with improving my skills when I started my NSFW art journey so I'm very thankful for that.
I'm used to studying these online references because of the accessibility and convenience it has since I never had an experience with an art school before. How did you come to get as good as you are as an artist? Derpixon: I usually try to study other existing animations frame by frame to get a feel of how they operate, including lewd animations! I can also say that porn videos helped me alot with figuring out poses, anatomy and most importantly, the motion.
